“Who are you to him, to want to buy him back?” Kimn was taking on a calculating tone.
He crossed his arms over his chest and leaned back calmly. “I am his Guardian, and I will have him back. Whether you accept payment or not.”
“Three thousand credits.”
Miranda’s mouth fell open. That was ten times what she had cost, and three times the original purchase price that Myrik had quoted to her during their chats in bed.
“Done.” He tossed a data chip to Kimn and stood up. “Myrik, let’s go home.”
“No.” He stood firm, the first words spoken by him since he had entered the room.
“What?” The Guardian was impatient. “We are leaving now.”
Myrik stood and glared at his Guardian. “No, I won’t go without Miranda. I need her.”
At this last sentence, Kimn let out a string of curses that was best not translated. “You can’t have her, boy. She belongs here. To me.”
“What is a ‘Miranda’? Some sort of pet?” His distaste was obvious. If Kimn valued it, it was bound to be repulsive.
“No, this is Miranda.” Myrik ran over and threw his arms around her. In the last few weeks alone, he had grown several inches. He now dwarfed her frame, making her feel delicate by comparison, and his wings curled around them. “I am not leaving without her.”
“Listen, boy, we can get you another companion.” His Guardian glowered, obviously displeased at the boy’s attachment to this little alien.
“Let me have a good look at her.” He seemed impatient, and stood to take a long assessing look at the creature in question.
As he walked toward her, she shrank back into Myrik’s embrace. He was even larger than Myrik, closing in on six and a half feet of solid muscle and black pinioned wings.
Miranda took a deep breath and straightened her shoulders. Remaining in Myrik’s embrace, but meeting his Guardian’s eyes. The lust that she saw there was plain, but what surprised her was the weary heaviness that burned out of the black of his eyes. She started, realizing that his mind had touched hers, and quickly began to hum advertising jingles in her head to keep any further intrusion to a minimum.
His black eyes widened in surprise at what he found. He began to grin, then laugh and for a moment, she saw the weariness leave him.
“I will take her as well.”
“She is not for sale.” Kimn’s voice was adamant.
The Guardian eyed her again. “Name your price.”
Miranda’s jaw dropped open, but she stood mute. You never told a merchant to name his price. It was financial suicide.
“She is the head of my household. She is the balance to my house. I would be lost without her.” Kimn’s voice had taken on a whine that she had not heard before. Perhaps he really did not want to sell her. “I will not sell.”
“Either give me a price, or be prepared to have my men take us out of here by force. You have one minute.” He was looking impatient now. Something told Miranda that it was a dangerous mood to have him in.
A sudden blurt, “Five thousand credits! I couldn’t let her go for less than that.”
He calmly reached into his purse and took out credit slips. He carefully counted them out and tossed them on the table. “Done. Let’s go.”
Myrik laughed in delight and picked her up. She felt for all the world like a very expensive toy. Dressed as she was, as they left Kimn’s house and entered the dimness of the night, she got very cold very quickly.
Myrik carried her for only a few minutes, until her teeth started to chatter.
His Guardian stopped, turned around and took her from his charge. “You are a frail thing, aren’t you?” was his quiet murmur as Myrik bounded into the waiting shuttle with puppy-like enthusiasm.
“Nnnott usually, nnooo. But I’mmm nnoott ddressedd to ttttravel.” Her teeth were still chattering, but at least he was warmer than Myrik.
She saw him smile again. “No, that you are not. But it is a lovely outfit. For my benefit, I assume?” His eyes seemed to have gone over every detail of the stitching.
“I gguuesss ssoo.” Of course it was.
They entered the shuttle, and she was surprised to see another Enjel at the helm. The Guardian carrying her took a seat, his wings left free by the narrow shape of the chair back, and the hatch sealed. She expected him to let her take one of the other seats, but he held her fast against him. As they began to lift off, she was pressed very intimately into his lap, and she could feel that his interest in purchasing her had not been all Myrik’s doing.
She raised startled eyes to his, and saw him looking intently at her mouth. She drew in her breath, unconsciously thrusting her breasts against his chest, dragging the delicate fabric between them.
His mouth dipped to taste her, and she wriggled lightly in his lap. His lips brushed against hers, once, twice, then settled into a gentle kiss that seemed to take hours.
Myrik was in the front passenger’s seat, and turned to look at them. His face darkened with anger. She was his. Osias could not have her, and he would tell him so when they landed on the main ship.
Osias broke the kiss and stared down at the little alien with consternation. Normally, he would bed this woman, then give her back to Mryik. His current impulses, however, violently opposed both his taking her casually, and her being given back to the boy.
Miranda noted that the penis that she was sitting on was extremely erect and had left damp traces on the bottom of her skirt, just as her own body had prepared for his entrance with slick juices parting her lower lips. Apparently their feelings were mutual; well, the lust anyway.
Teasingly she shifted her hips against him, hearing the hiss of his breath as she tormented him. Then a sudden push by the engines, and they were once again in firm contact. No shifting.
“Um. What is your name?” She felt that it was a fairly safe question.
“Osias Aron. Myrik’s Guardian, and occasional merchant.” Another devilish look crossed his face. “And what is your full name, little Miranda?”
“Miranda Kenzic, of the Alliance protectorate of Terra. Declared legally dead.” She surprised herself by adding that last one, but then she remembered the damned obedience chip was active for three more weeks. “What are you planning to do with me?” She wasn’t coy, she needed to know that her destiny was not a trip out the airlock. It wouldn’t be the first time that someone had gotten rid of an unsuitable female in that manner, no matter what she cost.
“Well, after you are both checked out in medical, we will decide if Myrik needs to keep you much longer. At home, a prospective mate would have been found for this stage of his development, but you were the only warm-blooded female around.
“If he doesn’t need you...well then, I paid for you, you are mine. And while I don’t have any concrete plans, we will spend some time together.” His fingers caressed her cheek as if marveling at the softness.
A final thrust of the engines and they began to dock with a larger ship. One further shove into his erection with the backs of her thighs, and a shivering sensation began low in her belly. She surreptitiously rubbed her silk-covered breasts against his chest. Then trailed one finger to the bundle of silk that topped her thighs.
She quickly glanced up, and noted that he was watching the docking procedures. Quick as lightning, she had her hand under her silks and was rubbing her clit in a furious manner. Only a few strokes had her shaking and shivering in the grip of a climax. She closed her eyes and let the sensations ride through her, while demurely returning her hands to her lap.
When she got up the nerve, she looked up to meet Osias’ eyes, alive with the blazing lust that had taken the place of mild interest.
Oops.
“I couldn’t wait. And you were distracted.” She blinked her eyes innocently at him, and when his lips swooped in to take her mouth in a hard kiss, she guessed that he was not that distracted. His tongue fenced with hers until a cough from the pilot got his attention.
“Aron, w
e have finished docking. They are waiting for Myrik in Medical. And your new pet, too.”
“She is mine.” Myrik grabbed her off of Osias’ lap and dragged her out of the shuttle and into the belly of the ship.
She stumbled to keep up. Her feet were not equipped to deal with the metal grates on the deck, and he forced her to wince and keep up. The grates were made from strips of metal to allow for easy maintenance, but to Miranda’s feet, it felt like walking on a barbeque grill--a sharp barbeque grill. Fortunately he knew where he was going, as she was completely lost inside the vastness of the ship. In minutes he had them in front of the wall, which announced it as the Medical Bay.
They went in through the sliding doors, and she was surprised to see an Azon doctor. They were a studious species, for the most part. As a race, they also had the potential to be vicious and warlike, with extra strength and claws that could dent steel if they so chose.
“Ah, Myrik, you have brought a friend. Well, we will assess you first. Hop up here.” The doctor was quite cheerful as he did a thorough examination. Halfway through it, the doors opened once again to admit Osias.
He took up a position behind her and in a repeat of her earlier actions, rubbed his aroused flesh against her back as she stood watching the exam. His head bent to her ear, and she heard a husky whisper. “Naughty of you to have done that on your own, in my lap, no less. Do you know that I can still smell you on me, that syrup that you leaked is in the fibers of my clothes?”
She kept her voice just as low. “Oh, God, I am sorry. But I needed to finish. It had been a while. I apologize for any offense, or stains that I may have left behind.”
His breath was hot against the back of her neck, “Oh, I am not complaining, but next time, let me watch.”
She felt the shiver run down her spine as the hairs on the nape of her neck sprang to attention. “If Myrik has his way, there will be no next time.”
“Ah, but if I have my way, there will.” He wrapped his arms around her and began to rock his erection against her full buttocks, a slow heavy rhythm that drew her breath out in a long shuddering sigh. She belatedly realized that his wings hid his actions from view. Her own hips began to rock against him, and one of his arms wrapped around her to hold her still.
His breath was coming faster, and then he let out a shudder that she could feel everywhere that they were connected. Well, at least they had both cum. Now she could count them as even.
Their reverie was broken when the doctor announced that he was done with Myrik, and would now examine Miranda.
“Hop up on this table, my dear, and let’s have a look at you.”
She did as he wished.
“What species are you? I need to calibrate my machines.” He was very serious and very curious. At a nod from Osias, he prepared a separate machine.
“Planet Terra, species human.” The table was really cold, and since she was still damp from her earlier exertions, it was uncomfortable. She shivered and waited.
He looked surprised, then interested. “One of my race has recently taken one of yours as a mate. He seems pleased, and all indicators are that the child will be healthy. Please lie back and part your thighs slightly.” She had an idea what was about to happen, but after her earlier activities, the swiftness with which the machine built her arousal was still startling.
In seconds she was panting, her hands fisted at her sides. The machine continued its detailed exploration of her response times and sensitivity.
This had happened once before. The first time she had been assessed by the raiders after the healing, she had used her empathy to tap into the med-tech’s boredom and keep herself from reacting. This time no one in the room was bored. They were all intensely interested in the results.
The other scans of her body were not invasive, except for the DNA sample. She didn’t even notice them however as her gasps had risen to keening cries, and still the ratings crept higher. Her erogenous zones were aflame, each nerve screaming for release, a new pulse of energy would flow through her and she would gasp in shock, then squeal with pleasure as her arousal built higher and higher.
How long she was in the machine, she didn’t know. But she did know that after coming to a screaming orgasm, only two men were left in the room, Osias and the doctor. Sweat dampened her silks, deftly painting her breasts nude. Her thighs fared better, but she could feel the slickness between them as she turned to dangle her legs off the table.
“So, Doc. Will I live?” Her hoarse voice was the only sound that had been heard in the room, other than harsh breathing since she had come.
“Um, yes. You seem to be in marvelous shape. Even for your species norms.” There were beads of sweat on the Azon’s brow and based on the deformation of his pants, he had enjoyed the ‘test.’
“Okay, but why the need for the sexual reflex test?” She really needed a drink of water.
“I ordered it.” Osias stepped forward, in much the same condition as the doctor. Surprising, since he had so recently spilled his seed. “If you are unsuitable, we needed to know now.”
“Unsuitable for what?”
“To mate with Enjel.”
She stared at him for a long moment, then turned her attention to the other male. “So, Doc. Did I pass?” She gave him a tired look and flipped her gold hair out of her eyes.
“Um, yes. You have extremely high sensitivity, but also great tolerances. Your body can with some effort take the Enjel easily, and with enjoyment.” The doctor looked relieved at being able to read the diagnostic printout. Anything technical to distract him and cool him down.
“Enjoyment? Are you sure of that?” She gave Osias a very direct look, and he seemed startled.
“Well, yes. You are wired correctly for it. Most of the Enjel males have trained in giving pleasure to women of other species.”
“Okay. Are we done here?”
“Yes, you are free to go.”
“Fine, thank you.” She hopped down from the table, only to realize that her legs would not hold her. She clung to the table and tried to stiffen her muscles under her when two large arms once again lifted her into the air and carried her away.
“This is an effective means of transport, but I can occasionally use my own feet.” She tried to sound arch, but she knew that the smell of her own lust was still surrounding her.
“Next time you can use your own feet. For now, you need food, and a place to sleep.”
She felt the engines pulsing beneath them and realized that wherever she was going to end up, they were headed there now. He carried her through level after level on the ship, finally stopping in front of a door that slid open at his arrival.
He walked in, deposited her on the bed and dialed up a meal from the food unit on the wall. It arrived in seconds. He walked toward her, holding the tray, and set it down next to her. The first thing she did was grab at the water, greedily drinking it down in seconds.
The food she was only familiar with due to her time at Kimn’s. Carefully and slowly, she began to eat. The spices filled her nostrils, and the taste flooded her mouth. One by one, the Enjel tidbits disappeared into her mouth. When she reached out to check the goblet of water, she found that it was full again and lifted her gaze to meet Osias’ with a smile. She drank deeply, only to find that it was not water, and she was in big trouble.
“What exactly is that in the cup?”
His lips twitched in amusement. “Water.”
“I don’t think so.”
“Ah, slight distinction. The Water of Love.”
“Love, as in sex? Or as in bosom companions for life?” She knew the answer, but was stalling for time. She was feeling warm just by looking at the rapt expression in his eyes.
“Sex.” He watched her carefully.
“Is this because you bought me? Because, if that is the case, there are quite a few agencies that you can contact to get your money back. Plus a finder’s fee.” She was babbling now, but an insistent heat had begun to bloom in her be
lly and the warmth was spreading through all of her limbs.
“Really? I may look into that. Later.” He sat quite still, only moving to retrieve the tray and leave her alone on the bed with nothing to throw at him. Wise choice.
Her hands clenched on her lap; every fiber of her being wanted to run her hands across her body, then across his. Funny, she had never thought of herself as a ‘me first’ kind of gal. Her breath began to come faster, a flush of arousal covering her neck and breasts. The fresh scent of her own arousal came at her with the unmistakable pulse of wetness from between her thighs. Damn her reflexes.
“So, how long are you going to sit there and watch me?” A shrill tone had entered her voice and she wondered where it came from.
“As long as it takes. You aren’t quite hot enough for my tastes.” He sniffed the air gently. “Well, perhaps you are, but I am willing to wait a bit longer.”
With a shrieked curse, she stood on the bed, walked to the far corner before he could stop her, and tore off her clothing. As soon as the last scrap of silk had fallen to the floor, she decided to take care of herself and lay back on the inviting sheets. With one hand kneading her breast and the other snaking between her raised thighs, her green eyes wild with undirected lust, she made quite the picture of debauchery, she was sure.
She heard a whoosh of air, and then Osias was above her, his clothing gone and his wings beating heavily in the stale air of the spacecraft. She grunted and rolled as he dropped his weight onto the bed. He missed her by inches, and she was across the room before he could grab her.
His voice was a husky croon. “Come here, little Terran, I won’t hurt you.” His cock bobbed invitingly, beckoning her and drawing her gaze. For too long. By the time she had snapped out of it, he was in front of her, his spread wings blocking her escape.
She feinted left, then right, and squealed in surprise as he caught her up in his arms, this time face to face. His long fingers dove directly into her slick cunt, working the moisture out, two fingers at first, then the third began to fuck her as he used the wall to brace her weight.
