I Dated a Hot Assassin (Blind Date Corporation Book 2)
I Dated a Hot Assassin (Blind Date Corporation Book 2) Read online
She has something he wants, and it’s embarrassing. Pretending she’s normal loses its appeal in the arms of her own assassin.
Khytten Danforth has spent her adult life getting by. She spends her days at work and her spare time volunteering at the hospital as a wet nurse. It sounds generous, but since her lactating talent activated after puberty, she’s been stuck with the effects.
Joining the Blind Date Corporation led her to her patron, whose need for her is a matter of biochemistry and driven by desire.
After a strange week of kidnapping and torture, the disasters have come to a halt, and she is able to start thinking of what happens next, but Salat has been doing his own thinking, and he wants her nearby and safe at all times. It is a fun wish, but she attracts danger like he attracts admirers, and her time with the Demon Cat of Aksalla tells her that she wants more from life than just subsisting. She actually wants to live.
Salat knew that he wanted to keep his kitten near him, but how to manage that feat eluded him until he saw her in action destroying the nest of henchmen. She had all the makings of a superhero or an amazing villain. It was a good thing that he knew how to straddle the divide.
The characters and events in this book are fictitious. Any similarity to real persons, living or dead, is coincidental and not intended by the author.

Chapter One
Khytten felt the blood dripping from her mouth and temple. They hauled her dazed body into a warehouse and dropped her on the floor.
“Come on now, little cow. Get up. We want some answers about what you are.” A hand fisted in her hair and pulled her up to a kneeling position.
She hissed as a blade cut through her blouse and to the skin beneath. “Ow!”
The man above her had a dark complexion with blue highlights. He had projecting nails, and that is what he was using on her.
“Now, little cow, we want to know what you can do with that milk of yours.”
She grimaced. “None of your fucking business.”
The claws dug into her breast, and she howled as he dug deep. When he released her, she panted. “Stupid move if you want them to work again. The boobs are what do the programming.”
“Tell us what we want to know, and you will keep your mind as your own.” He chuckled and darted his head forward, sucking hard on her nipple, mixing her blood with the milk.
It was what she had waited for. “Where is the Mentor holed up?”
“Coffee shop near the Hasking Boardwalk. You go in through the janitor’s closet and down the stairs. You will be there soon enough.” He blabbed on and on. It was only proper. He had just ingested as much truth serum as she could give him.
She curled her arms protectively over her breasts, slid her hands under them, pulled the blasters out, and started shooting.
The blasts were set fairly high, and several of her targets went flying. She shot with both hands in different directions, crossing her arms and then opening them for a wide sweep. When the blasters lost power, she reloaded with the charge packs that were loaded under her breasts. No one ever looked under the breasts. The gazes usually were cleavage and nipple focused.
She fired again at anyone coming toward her and crouched next to the barrels when things fell silent.
“Remain where you are. I am coming for you.” Salat’s voice in her ear made her wince.
“I didn’t mean to get into trouble.”
“And yet, you had weapons at the ready. How fortuitous.”
She blushed and murmured, “We had to get the location. I have it now.”
“We are going to discuss your reckless tendencies, kitten.”
She winced. “Uh, I think I hear my bus.”
“Remain where you are until I come and get you, kitten. Hide. I don’t want the teams getting you before I get there.”
“Yes, Patron.” She grumbled and settled down, nursing her wounds. She lifted a breast to her mouth and took a few sucks. The punctures and slices started sealing but were still open when she heard footfalls in the building again.
The first voice she heard was Torun’s. He whistled softly. “Salat is losing his touch. No one is bleeding.”
Zera spoke with a smile in her voice. “It wasn’t Salat. This was Kit.”
Torun was surprised. “What?”
Zera was very amused, and it showed in her voice amongst the dead all around. “She didn’t complete her peacekeeper’s exam, but she was a fully trained peacekeeper. She also likes weapons.”
Tension filled the air, and the nearly silent footfalls warned her that her patron had arrived. Salat stopped and stared at her for a moment. He reached down and pulled her up with his hands on her arms. “My heart nearly stopped when you started shooting.”
“I am a really good shot.” She squeaked as he hugged her tightly. “No... don’t!” Milk emerged and soaked the front of her funeral clothes.
He glanced down between them and chuckled. “Come on, kitten, and let’s get you sorted.”
She crossed her arms over her chest, and the small blast weapons were still in her hands. He ignored it and lifted her in his arms. Her being armed didn’t faze him.
Zera let them pass, as did the army of team members who came to help. “Um, I guess we start identifying bodies?”
Salat headed to his vehicle and opened her blouse, sucking strongly at her until he lifted his head and said, “Healing?”
She nodded and focused. “Go ahead.”
He drew out the milk and kissed her. She moaned as she had laced it with pleasure so that he could benefit from helping her. The gouges closed, and he stroked the skin gently. “Buckle up.”
She nodded and turned to face forward, her shirt torn and stained. He got behind the controls, and he powered the vehicle up before revving the engine, and they were off. They stopped at the chapel, and he went in to get her pumping kit.
He stowed it in the back of his vehicle and returned to the driver’s seat. He drove off in silence, and he finally asked, “What were you thinking, and how did I not hear you plotting?”
She shrugged. “We used the monitors and typed our plans. I told her what I needed, and we headed to her armoury.”
“She has an armoury?”
“She’s Z-Tech. She has an armoury.”
He sighed. “You make strange friends, kitten.”
She put her hand on his wrist. “Check the mirror, Patron.”
He turned his hand to hold hers and brought it to his lips. “How are you feeling, kitten?”
“Better. Still not great, but I have had worse.” She smiled.
“They are going to want you for your versatility now. You are going to be hunted.”
“Oh. Hooray. I guess I will have to get more charge packs.”
“How many did you go through?”
“Two recharges after the original cartridge.”
He nodded. “Forty dead. Not bad. How do you feel about it?”
“Indifferent. I have seen the orphaned kids left behind by folks like that. I don’t care to have them around. The less of the psychos without purpose, the better.”
He kissed her hand again, licking her palm.
She shivered. “The weirdest things turn you on.”
“Like what?”
“Me with guns. Me without guns. Me fully clothed or naked.”
He chuckled. “You have put your finger on it.”
“A few times, but it is still more than I can get a hand around.”
He grinned, his fangs bared. “You are lucky that we have a bit of a drive ahead of us, or I would turn you over my knee for that.”
“Where are we going?”
“To the healer. Those tissue tears are dangerous, and I don’t want them scarring. I know your body only uses your own brand as an emergency repair.”
She wrinkled her nose. “I will heal with time.”
“I don’t want to give you time. I want to confirm that you are alive and safe in the most basic way and don’t want to hurt you in the process. So, the healer is expecting us. I called her when I heard you cry out.”
She blinked. “What if it had been a splinter or something?”
“You wouldn’t have cried out. You wouldn’t have whimpered like an injured animal. You would have taken in a deep breath and just ignored it.”
“Um.”
“It’s the same thing you do when I enter you and you aren’t quite ready.” He kissed her hand again.
Fire lit her cheeks. “Oh. That.”
“Yes, if heat didn’t flood your eyes immediately after, I would have to slow things down a lot. Fortunately, you are a very responsive little kitten.”
Her face stayed hot for another ten minutes until they pulled onto a country lane and from there up to a house where a woman emerged, wiping her hands on a tea towel.
“C’mon in. Nice to see you again, kitten.” The woman’s expression was amused.
Khytten slowly left the vehicle and tried not to use her arms. Now that the adrenaline had worn off, her breasts were so very sore.
She moved carefully and walked to the woman’s door; Salat kept his steadying hand at her back as they stepped inside.
The quaint house turned into a high-tech med facility in a moment, and the healer helped her into a recumbent chair. Salat stood nearby and watched with his arms crossed over his chest.
The healer hissed in sympathy when she peeled the fabric back and took in the gouges. “That looks like Navrin’s work.”
Salat snorted. “That won’t be a problem anymore.”
“Oh, you killed him?”
“She did. My little kitten has claws.”
Khytten looked at Salat. “Can you come here for a minute?”
He walked over and crouched down. “Yes, pet?”
“Hold this.” She pulled the weaponry out as well as the spare charges. Then, she made a show over patting herself down. It hurt, but it was worth it to see the surprise on his face. Then, she tapped her lips. “Kisses for a good kitten.”
He grinned and kissed her, sliding his tongue along hers. She felt the healer start work on her body with searing pain, and she held Salat’s ear to keep the kiss going as a pleasant distraction from the agony.
She kept the kiss going until the burn stopped, and then, she let him go.
Salat lifted his head and rubbed his ear. “Feel better?”
She nodded shyly. “Yes, Salat.” She looked at the healer. “How much do I owe you?”
The healer’s eyes were gleaming. “Twelve thousand or more of that.”
Khytten blinked. “More of what?”
“You two are hot.”
Khytten looked toward Salat. “Um, I would offer you sex, but I have an exclusive contract with Salat.”
He frowned. “She looks like she has a genuine need if you wish to help her. I consider her a friend and authorize you to assist her.”
The healer held up her hands. “I don’t want you to sleep with me; I just want to touch you while you sleep with him.”
Salat chuckled. “That is easy. Khytten, are you up for an audience?”
“Um. It can get a little messy.” Khytten thought it only fair to warn her.
“I understand. That is possibly the least offensive bodily secretion I could be splattered with.”
“Uh, it is more of a spray or squirt, depending on what Salat is doing. We don’t exactly have choreography for this.”
The healer smiled. “I just want to experience genuine pleasure, even if I have to get it through you.”
“Okay, but the offer stands to go down on you.”
The healer smiled. “I will keep that in mind. Sex isn’t really my thing.”
Khytten chuckled. “It was not mine either, but I still had to take a class.”
Salat cleared his throat, and he had removed his clothing. His hands worked at her funeral clothing, and she gasped when he slid a hand between her thighs. She bit her lip as a few light strokes of his fingertips sent shockwaves through her, and she got slick.
Salat pulled her out of the chair and onto his lap, facing him. He cut the fabric from her with one of his energy blades and discarded it. He looked at the bare expanse of her with lower limbs wrapped in silk and tutted. She was wearing a garter belt and stockings and nothing else. “You weren’t wearing socially appropriate undergarments for a funeral.”
She blushed. “Zera dressed me. She said it was thanks for your help.”
He ran his hands over her buttocks and back before working his way up to her shoulders. The silk stopped mid-thigh and gave her a place to focus on when he touched her skin. The recumbent nature of the bed meant that she was straddling and facing him at the same time she was leaning toward his chest. It was at this point that she got shy when she had to make the first move. His calm stroking of her skin told her that he was waiting for her to start.
She placed her hands on his chest and slowly walked her fingers down the ridged musculature. She hummed happily and kissed his neck, his chin, and finally, she brushed a light kiss across his lips. He smiled against her mouth and waited until she used her tongue to request entrance. He opened his mouth, and she flicked her tongue against his, coaxing his participation.
“She’s going to wait a long time if you make me do all the work.”
He chuckled. “But, I so rarely get an audience.”
“I am sure that we can arrange something at a later date; as you said, the healer is in need.”
She kissed him again; this time, he moved with her, his tongue duelling against hers. The flicker of desire that she felt from just touching him flared high when he held her mouth and kissed her, his teeth deadly sharp, but he was so careful with them.
She shivered and felt his smile against her lips.
“Give them to me.” His dark whisper made her shake, and she used her hands to rear up on him like a cobra. This put her breasts even with his mouth, and she had to lean forward to put her left nipple between his lips. He sucked and drew on her, surprised that she was holding back. It showed in the quirk of his brows.
He moved his head and pressed his forehead between her breasts. “Give it to me, kitten.”
She shuddered and shook her head. “No, not yet.”
He slid two fingers into her and snorted. “You are more than ready.”
“Yes, but I am not used to being watched, and it is causing a bit of conflict.”
“I suppose I will just have to distract you.” He kneaded her breast, eased his fingers into her in a smooth beat of surge and retreat, and she sank into a place where it was just her and him.
She rode his hand, and a short orgasm rippled through her, pebbles in a pond working outward in a wave. She moaned against his mouth and felt the fingers leave her ankle. She glanced over at the healer. “We aren’t done yet. I just needed that to get enough endorphins to have sex in front of you.”
&
nbsp; The healer had a tented wet spot at the front of her dress. Oh. That would explain the hesitance.
“There’s more?”
Salat rumbled, “There is much more. If we aren’t covered in sweat, milk, and cum, we haven’t had sex.”
Khytten lifted her hips and set his cock in place. He groaned, and his neck tensed as she fought to relax while taking him inside her. She knew she could do it, she had done it before, but it was never easy.
When she was settled around him, her body clenched and relaxed around him. His hands moved over her, gripped her thighs, and moved her over him.
“Ooohhh.” She threw her head back and moved with him as he drove upward and pulled her down.
Her body got hot, her breasts got heavy, and she heard Salat say something to the healer. Khytten didn’t care as she got closer and closer to her own release. She braced her hands on Salat’s chest as she moved with him, and her body tensed; her voice got higher and breathier. She gave herself over to the sensations, and when she cried out, the fingers gripping her ankle tightened, and she felt two pairs of lips on her breasts. She looked down, and Salat met her gaze while the healer had her eyes closed, falling to the side as she was overwhelmed by the taste and feel of Khytten’s orgasm.
Salat drew heavily on her and then switched to the other side. This was how he felt pleasure, through the rich chemical compounds that she produced. He had always gotten off on human milk, and now, he had his own supply whenever he asked for it.
He shuddered inside her, twitching strongly and kicking off her aftershocks. His dark gaze locked with hers, and she held his head while he sucked. She gasped and clenched around him in time to his sucking.
When he was done, he raised his head and kissed her. She was still panting softly and rested her forehead against his. The healer was lying on the ground. “I think we broke her.”
He chuckled. “She will be fine. Torenne is made of sturdy stuff. I don’t think she was expecting to taste pleasure, though. That is what did her in.”
